A Life-Giving Christian
Community Center

What is the Hub?

The Hub was created by people who love Bangor and the Slate Belt, because God loves Bangor and the Slate Belt. It was built to be a place where people can find hope and peace. It is a place for friendship, encouragement, and fun for people of all ages.

Programs at the Hub

Our Kids Nights and Teen Nights are designed to be entertaining while helping the youth in our community find hope and meaningful values for life.

Kid’s Night Out (1st – 4th Graders on Tuesday Nights)

Our Kid’s Nights Out include games, stories, crafts, and snacks centered on a Christian lesson to help kids grow and thrive. Special emphasis is placed on sharing biblical stories that teach children how we should treat each other and the importance of honoring God.

Kid’s Kight Out (5th – 6th Graders on Wednesday Nights)

Kids get free play time in a safe environment with activities like basketball, pool, air hockey, and foosball. We also plan snack time along with the structured story, craft, and group activities centered on a Bible-based theme.

Teen’s Night Out (7th – 12th Graders on Thursday Nights)

Our Teen’s Night Out allows for a safe place for teenagers to hang out, play games like ping-pong, air-hockey, or pool, and they can even participate in a game of closely monitored frisbee-dodgeball or basketball if they want. We provide a snack and a time where we teach a Biblical lesson to help then grow and thrive.

New programs are also being developed to provide parenting and technical training to support needs of all ages in the Slate Belt.

All Hub leaders have received background clearances and are here to support kids in our community to help them grow and learn.
